We are looking for a new team member!
We, at the SafeEx CyberTech team, are responsible for the maintenance and quality of applications, infrastructure and security throughout the company, amongst other ad-hoc tasks.
As we expand and develop a brand new product, we’re looking for a foundational QA Engineer to join our team in Aalborg.
Your responsibilities
As our dedicated QA engineer, you will have the autonomy and responsibility to define processes, select tools, and help promote a quality-first mindset across the entire engineering department.
On the tech side, you write clean, well-documented code that your teammates will actually appreciate.
Here are some examples of your tasks:
- Develop and maintain test strategies – both manual and automated
- Integrate testing in our CI/CD pipelines
- Develop and improve our automated testing
- Do manual, exploratory and performance testing
- Release management
- Produce good quality code and perform reviewing of the code written by others
- Generate new ideas!
The required skills
- Test Automation - Experience with test automation frameworks (Playright, Cypress, Selenium, etc.)
- Programming - Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript and/or Python
- Fundamentals - Understanding of different testing methodologies (e.g., black box, white box, regression, performance)
- DevOps - Git, Docker, CI/CD
- Professional Experience - 3+ years of experience in the QA, testing or software development field, or relevant Bachelors degree (f.x. Computer Science)
- Communication - Fluent in English, verbally and in writing

- Shell scripting
- Experience with Linux systems
